As our consultants travel they invest their time in checking the translation work which has been progressing within a country.  Here Bibles International’s chief translation consultant, Glenn Kerr, stands with the attendees at a two-week workshop held in Chad, Africa.  Philippe and Jean, the Day and Sara Madjingaye translators; Moise, the Day typist; and Pastors Machine and Torta all participated in carefully checking and correcting the translation work which had been done in Joshua, Judges, and Ruth. Before arriving in Koumra in southern Chad, Glenn had been in Bénin, Africa, where he worked with a translation team on Deuteronomy in the Dendi language.  These workshops were successful and yielded much fruit toward the goal of one day having a printed Bible in the heart languages of the Day, Sara Madjingaye, and Dendi speaking people.
