When they had finished translating the book of Joshua the pastor wanted to use it in church but had no way to distribute copies to the members. There was a short-term missionary on the island and she copied the entire book of Joshua by hand in large print onto a roll of butcher-block paper. They hung the roll from a broken broom stick. Each week they would roll down the passage for the service and everyone could read along.

The Warao are covering all the costs for their translator. Each year they also take up an offering and send it to B.I. to help with another translation project, the Darlong in
Northeast India.
